Detecto’s model 8435 and 8435KG feature easy-to-use keypads and extra-large displays perfect for patient weighing and viewing by the attending nurse, physician, or home healthcare professional. The filtering feature compensates for typical baby movement and the Lock key holds weight, so the nurse can attend to the baby first and then record the weight. The 8435 is powered by 6 AA batteries (not included) or optional AC adapter and it is EMR/EHR ready via its RS232 serial port. The 8435’s capacity is 130 lb x 0.1 lb and the 8435KG’s capacity is 59 kg x 0.05 kg.
